What are #NaniWale Lessons?

Life is a long learning curve. While teachers, colleagues, friends, and even enemies all teach us, no one can teach us as much as our grandparents. They care the most about us and want the best for us. Life lessons from grandparents are precious and have helped us to become what we are today and going to be in future. #NaniwaleLesson is a tribute to our grandparents and to revive some of the forgotten gems that we have learned from them.

Essence of Blue Nectar - NaniWaleLessons

While we use the formula used by our Grandparents in Blue Nectar products, we are sure there are so many hidden gems yet to be unearthed. #NaniWaleLesson is an attempt to find & compile such ideas that could be used & reused by everyone.

We are sure you will find some of the products/ideas based on these lessons useful for your day-to-day lifestyle. If you'd like to share your #Naniwalelesson with others, please let us know and we'll be happy to listen & share.

Encyclopedia Of #NaniKeNuskhe

Here are a few age-old ‘nuskhe’ which will make us reminisce about the memorable time we spent with our grandparents in our childhood.

@sunitakatyal9

My Nani's Nuska for healthy hair : Soak fenugreek seeds in water for 10 hrs then grind, Apply the paste on hair & leave for 40 min & rinse. This nuska keeps me hair fresh, soft and strong! Thank you Nani ❤️

@sarikakumarrecipes

My Nani used Multani mitti mix with milk on the face. It not only tightens the pores but also makes the skin smoother and better.

@sharma_girl1102

My Nani always used to apply when I'm suffering from cough. A glass of warm water, with a few drops of lemon, a teaspoon of honey and a pinch of cinnamon was all that was needed to provide us the much-needed relief in cough. That’s the reason why our Nani was always ready with her homemade recipe to cure that harsh cough.

@stuti_badal

For hair fall control use Roasted (Black paper + Amla powder + maithi powder ) and mix this with Luke warm coconut oil and then Nani gives me Head massage with this❤️ This is really effective...I am continuing this from 3 months now and differences are clearly visible❤️

@vaishalisolanki311

My Nani Mash a banana, apply on your skin and leave for 15 to 20 minutes. Then wash with lukewarm water. I can also make a facemask using 1 ripe banana, 1 tsp honey and lemon juice. Banana peels also help in lightening our skin tone and dark circles. Gently rub banana peels on your skin. Leave for 10 to 15 minutes and then wash with water.

@chanchal_goyal18

@savitanagpalmagickitchen

Nani Ke Nuskhe. For dandruff. Mix curd and fenugreek seeds powder. Apply on your hair. Leave it for 1 hour then wash your hair.

My Nani's the best "Nushka" for Healthy Hair is to take a mixture of almond, coconut and olive oil. Add two tablespoons of powdered fenugreek seeds and allow it get soaked in the oil for one hour. Apply the paste to the scalp, massage it thoroughly. Leave it overnight and wash it off with the shampoo. Repeat this thrice a week💜

Whenever I visit my Nani, she makes me follow ayurvedic routine for skin and hair care. Starting with generous oil massage , she makes natural shampoo from fresh hibiscus leaves and flowers. She makes a herbal face pack with turmeric , honey, egg white, milk and applies on my face. After a day at her place, my skin is brightened and glowing

My Nani would give us a bath with curd, besan, and haldi once a week to keep our skin clean and glowing.

@swaranjeet_2002

Soak a spoonful of fenugreek seeds overnight. Grind them in the morning and mix them in sour curd. If curd does not suit, then only fenugreek paste will also remove dandruff.

@ayushi._.16

Nani's nuskha is "Apply Raw potato on face & dark circles" it helps to remove pigmentation & clear the skin deeply & also used Aleo vera on your face to get glowing skin. She said "the best skin products are available in our kitchen" & I agreed on her now 😍😍

Onion juice: Take out the juice of one big onion and mix some honey and rose water in it. Apply this mixture on the head as a mask. The sulfur present in it will provide shine to your hair.

@khushiigupta_
